Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 annual salary, plus commission; $300,000 annual on target earnings

Position Overview
In this role, you will drive business development, cultivate broker relationships, and expand our market presence within the captive and self-funded medical space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, deep knowledge of stop-loss and captives, and strong strategic leadership skills.
How You’ll Contribute
• Drive Revenue Growth: Expand the company’s market presence and increase sales within the stop-loss and self-funded employers
• Strengthen Broker Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and consultants to enhance distribution channels.
• Develop Strategic Sales Plans: Implement targeted regional strategies to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales performance.
• Enhance Client Retention: Provide superior client service, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
• Optimize Risk Management Solutions: Educate clients on self-funded insurance models and stop-loss solutions to help them manage costs effectively.
• Improve Market Positioning: Leverage industry insights and competitor analysis to refine value propositions and differentiate the company.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with underwriting, marketing, and account management to deliver seamless client solutions.
• Utilize Data-Driven Sales Approaches: Leverage CRM tools to track pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and measure performance.
• Support Innovation & Product Development: Provide market feedback to help refine and enhance captive insurance offerings.
• Represent the Company at Industry Events: Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to strengthen brand visibility and business relationships.
What You’ll Need
• B.A./B.S. in Business or a related field.
• At least Five years’ experience working in health insurance sales.
• Comprehensive knowledge of stop-loss and underwriting concepts
• Ability and willingness to travel multiple times a year, which will include overnight stays for corporate gatherings, conferences, and health fairs.
• Ability to attend and professionally engage in video meetings.
• Strong technological skills, meaning you can effectively and efficiently use computers, peripheral equipment, and applications/systems, including Microsoft products.
• Autonomous self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity.
• Creative mindset and ability to appropriately challenge the status quo.
• Superb written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to overcome obstacles with a ‘yes if...’ approach.
• Ability to effectively balance competing deadlines without losing focus on the bigger picture.
• Reliable internet and power with a designated area to conduct work with minimal interruptions.
